CHOWDOWN VIETNAM PRIVATE FOOD TOUR
19 AUGUST – 2 SEPTEMBER 2016 – 14 DAYS US$ 1550

We will welcome you in Hanoi, go over the itinerary with some drinks and dinner, after we head out into the streets of Hanoi, and we will teach you how to walk across the street…and live to tell it.
The Old Quarter consists of 36 streets and walking them early mornings is my favourite thing to do in Hanoi, you are welcome to join me on my daily walk.
Street-food is ample and very tasty and we will eat our way through it…..be prepared.
Cooking Class will be a blast as you learn how to roll your first spring rolls among other local dishes for your dinner.
You will have all the time to roam the city and museums on your own to enjoy.

Phong Nha Caves are the largest caves in the world and were discovered just a few years ago and worth the overnight train trip. Spending two nights at the Farm, gives you the opportunity to relax, take in the breathtaking scenery or go and be a Spelunker with Zip lining transportation to the dark caves or just have cold beer and make new friends.

Hoi An being everyone’s favourite town, has been our home for a few years and your next stop for several nights.
Biking and walking are big on the agenda, we also mingle with the locals and learn loads of how they produce and grow their food.
Ever wanted to know how rice grows and what happens in the process? You will have the opportunity and will humbly appreciate that bowl of rice even more. If you are into organic gardening, there are pointers to be picked up here.
Tofu & rice paper making, round boat building and plenty more interesting foodie stuff will be discovered and explored.
A food tour of their delicacies is a must as every region has its pride. Cao Lau, White Rose. Chicken & Rice are Hoi An’s staple food.
This is the town with some 1000 restaurants and equal amounts of tailor shops for you to get something tailor-made to take home.
Cooking demonstration mixed with tips and tricks and shaken up with a bit of history and culture are our main past time we are going to experience.

Ho Chi Minh City – Saigon
We will fly 1 1/2hr to Saigon and tour the city by foot to discover its French charm as we continue our culinary adventure. By night, we will sit pillion on a retro Vespa’s scooter and explore Saigon’s food and culture by stopping in various places that only the local frequent…we will eat and drink and be part of the music scene.
A great farewell….
